No more lost things

Talking with Toby I found out that he really likes it here with us. He likes being able to chat heart to heart with our minds. He thinks it is pretty cool when I get it right. He also said he likes being here "Because he doesn't loose things"..I asked him what things he has lost before? Toby said "um....me....my name...my collar..." Now he won't ever loose those things..awe Toby.

Getting more relaxed

Today
Toby came in the bathroom on his own today
Normally I leave the door open a crack so he can wonder in. Today it was too chilly to do that. So I closed the door but only to the door frame. When I got out there was a little nose poking his way through! I told him he was a good boy!
Yesterday
Just got back from a VERY pleasant day with Toby and hubby!
We went to Jack In The Box that had outside tables and then on to the WoodCrest Bike shop. Toby was on his best behavior and everyone got to say hi

Toby loves his people

Toby update:
I have noticed Toby being much more relaxed these days. I gave him that thought "Wow Toby you really like it here now!" He said "Yes there is no more HORROR and he sent me a picture of a front door wide open with no one coming back" I said in my heart "Yes Toby you are loved here and we will always come back for you"
After his bath/shower yesterday Toby was being real good and holding still for me while I brushed his fur. I did not have his collar on so he was free to move about but he didn't. I told him what a good boy he was out loud. He sent me a thought? I like making you happy." I said back to him "but do you like being brushed?" He said no not really it pulls my hair but I like making you happy. And I really like after my bath I feel a lot better!" I noticed Thursday that he stood still longer if I was more methodical in my brushing going all one side and then all on the other side and then the tail and then the chest If I mixed it up he would get restless. So that is how I brushed him on Saturday and he stood still longer
This morning I got up and went to the bathroom. Toby knows I come back with a cup of coffee and a granola bar that we share. This time Toby followed me into the bathroom. Next thing he likes to do is snuffle for any bit of food on the floor. He did not snuffle. He stood very still in front of me while I was still sitting in the bathroom. Ya'all get the idea...Anyway I reached down and stroked him very lightly down the back. He stood still longer. So I reached up to his chest and scrunched his fur there. He then leaned into me as I worked my fingers up his chin and to his ears. He has never let me pet him that long! I asked him in my heart. "wow thank you for letting me pet you! Why did you let me pet so long this time?" Toby said "You are like a CAT!" I was like what...? "I don't meow or have a tail" Toby said "you have soft paws like a cat. I like that" and then we were ready to go get our granola bar.

We have the house open today. Joe is out on the patio fixing a bicycle. I am here in the office on my computer. I look around and there is no Toby. I find him here in the bedroom fast asleep where he lays down at night next to Joe. Nice and quiet in there today.

Toby's Heart

Today Toby was beside my bed. I only have 2D peripheral vision. So I saw the small shape of a wolf with a huge head. Kinda spooky. Then I asked God "But what does his heart look like?"
I saw a tiny glass bubble with gold glitter surrounding it. Toby's heart is as small as a hummingbird and as fragile as a butterfly.
I have been working with Toby on getting him used to our routine and settling in.
Now I am going to work on getting his spirit/heart stronger :)

Recheck on Toby's Eye

The spot in his eye is pretty much cleared up. Dr said finish drops and all done! No charge again! Joe says If we get another problem we are bringing him back here.
oh ya and there was a HUGE brown Lab in the waiting area that barked and wanted to make friends with Toby. Toby wanted nothing to do with that dog. I asked if we could sit in the Cat area. There were no cats, but Toby was instantly more relaxed
